About the retreat

With busy schedules, commitments, and high levels of stress; it's sometimes difficult to take full day out for yourself.

This evening is intended as a "mini escape" from the hustle and bustle of daily life, A chance to focus on your needs in terms of mind, body and soul as well as to have some invaluable quiet time away to simply BE.

An afternoon of soothing and nurturing Yin yoga, a slow and mainly floor based practice to work on deeper tissues of the body by holding postures for longer ( 3-5 minutes). We will hopefully create space and balance in the physical, energetic body but also in the mind.

Be guided through the basics of Vipassana practice ( buddhist meditation technique) known as insight meditation. It is the practice of being in the present moment while being mindful of thoughts and feelings without attaching to them. Through the practice of Vipassana, people learn to observe the mind and body objectively, without attachment or aversion which further helps us to increase our capacity to bring more MIINDFULNESS into our everyday life.
