Tom Hounsfield - Founder

Tom is responsible for the seed of an idea that grew into Purusha Retreats. Tom ran Chestnut Tree Farm for many years and champions the no-till, Agro-forestry and rewilding styles of farming. He has now chosen to travel with his wife Lou and their family and will always be part of the spirit of Purusha Retreats.

Lou Hounsfield

Lou has a passion for wanting to share and bring some form of wellbeing to all. Lou’s belief that compassion is key to create a safe and welcoming environment. This is what lead Lou to create Purusha Retreats with Tom, as she saw a place filled with love and light which she wanted others to have the chance to enjoy.

Lou has chosen to travel with Tom and their family and will always be part of the spirit of Purusha Retreats.
