The Kula Dome

Kula is the Sanskrit word meaning community, clan or tribe. To us this means connection. The Kula Dome is an open and safe place for people to come and feel inspired and connected through shared experience. Warmed by a wood burning stove in the winter, Kula is a bright and spacious studio perfect for whatever your practice. Yoga and meditation, singing and laughter Kula inspires creativity, vibrancy and peace. The Kula Dome is included in weekend retreat bookings. It’s also available during the week for classes and events.

The spaces at Purusha are available for hire throughout the year. During weekends and peak periods we offer our spaces as a package for weekend, day retreats and special occasions. During the week spaces are available individually for classes and shorter retreats. If you’re interested in working with us or would just like to find out more please do get in touch.

The Grub Hub

A short walk connects the Kula Dome to the Grub Hub, our beautiful dining dome. This place has a fresh energy of its own. A circular table can seat up to 20 diners surrounding wood-burning stove. There’s a panoramic view over the meadow through the floor to ceiling windows. After dark there’s dimmable lighting to set the mood. It’s a joyous place to share a delicious meal and fantastic company in.

The Tea Hut

Our cosy Tea Hut is a popular place with every guests. Set over a Lilly pad-strewn lake is a perfect place for up to 12 guests at a time to come together over a cuppa and take it all in. Stocked full of speciality teas and coffees (including our own Purusha Blend) it’s available for guests to come and go as they please. The tea hut is included (along with speciality teas and coffees) with all day and weekend retreat bookings. Weekday classes can choose to add the tea hut to a session on a per person basis.

The Grounds

Purusha Retreats is set in idyllic, Lincolnshire. You’ll find woodlands, a lake, flower meadows and winding pathways through fields under the county’s famous big skies. You’ll find a diverse range of plants and wildlife including dragon flies, deer, badgers and countless butterflies. Within the woodlands of the farm you’ll also find Santosha - a glade perfect for fire pits and contemplation there’s a soundscape circle - an acoustically special area for meditation and being immersed in the natural sounds of woodland and our much loved Gratitude Tree. The spaces are yours to enjoy and use as part of any full site booking. During the week some spaces are available to hire for classes and activities.

The Sunset Dais

Our Sunset Dais looks out from a wood across an endless view over the Lincoln Edge. Facing west, it’s witness to every sunset of the year. A sensory delight! Trees rising up through the platform to offer support or maybe just to hug! Peace and power are found by all who choose to pause here.

The Stretch Tent

Our much-loved stretch tent is perfect for parties, workshops and classes in the open air. Dress it up with your decor for your special event or enjoy it's restful simplicity with stunning views.
